Our blog is now live! We've taken on a blog on Chris Baker's website 'The Great War in Words';
Keep an eye on the blog for posts about the Project, our men and other research work we've undertaken, along with overviews of key battles and actions.

We've just returned from a break on the Somme, where we visited many of our men in the Somme and Cambrai regions, taking our full total of men we have visited up to 76! Like us on Facebook for the photographs of the graves, which will be posted over time.
Keep an eye on this website for further men's histories being published - we take as much time as is necessary to research each man, we're determined to do them justice.
This year we've visited the battlefields four times; to the Somme in April, and Belgium in April, May and June/July when we also drove out into France. We crammed them in to the early part of the year as we are awaiting the arrival of our first child in September!
To date, we have visited all but one of the men buried in France (John Boldan who is buried out at Rouen being the exception) and all the men buried in Belgium - that's 87 of our 100 men!
Over the next few months, focus will shift towards research; so far we've published basic research on exactly half of our men, which is a great achievement as we're only just over 1 year into the Project.
Keep an eye on this website, and the Facebook page for updates over the next few months!

Well, what a year that was! In 2015 we visited the battlefields four times, ticked off all but one of the cemeteries on the Salient, visited all but one of our men in France and all of our men in Belgium. We are well on our way to paying our respects to all our fallen men and still have 2 and a half years left.
Research continues - we are onto the 'R's now and moving forwards. Some men are more elusive than others but keep checking our 'The Men' page for more updated biographies.
The biggest development last year was the birth of our daughter, Poppie Eve in September. She's a stunner and we're looking forwards to taking her on her very first battlefield tour at Easter this year.
Happy New Year!
